Violet Evergarden Gaiden - Mannheim Locations in Real Life
Last thursday, I visited the Baroque Palace Mannheim, one of the locations used for the movie “Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll”. The palace is located in Mannheim, Germany, and is easily accessible by public transport. Since I study in Heidelberg, it’s only a short ride away for me.
The ticket currently costs 11€ for adults and 5,50€ for students (under 28 years old with a valid student ID). It’s open from 10:00 to 17:00 every day except Mondays. You can check the visitor information on the official website for up-to-date information.
Outside the Palace
There were a lot of students, because the University of Mannheim is actually located inside the palace. The rooms I visited were just a part of the palace, that has been restored and turned into a museum.

Bonus
The piano can also be found, but you can’t recreate the photo as you can’t go further inside the room.
Also, the curtains are the same and there are two rooms with the same blue color, but I couldn’t get a good picture.
